- Welcome to The Cursive Club! Today's letter is o.
- Cursive is movement on paper. Body, arm, wrist, hand, pencil.
- Stand up, and stir a big pot of soup with me!
- Lift the spoon up, go back, stir around and around, and pull it out!
- A round Magic C, closed at the top, with a little bridge. That's the letter o.
- Now watch the letter o.
- Start on the baseline. Swing up and over the top, like a Magic C.
- Go back over the top, and curve around to close it.
- Then swing out at the top, like a little bridge.
- Again, a little faster. Up, back, around, out.
- Now, nice and quick.
- Your turn! Trace the gray letters in your book.
- Go slow, and start at the dot.
- Keep your pencil on the paper. It's all one stroke.
- Close the o, and swing out at the midline.
- Great job, cursive star! Pause and practice on your page!
