- Welcome to The Cursive Club! Today's letter is g.
- Cursive is movement on paper. Body, arm, wrist, hand, pencil.
- Stand up, and spin a hula hoop with me!
- Swing it up, go back and around, then dive way down, and loop back up!
- A Magic C with a tail that dives below the baseline. That's the letter g.
- Now watch the letter g.
- Start on the baseline. Swing up and over the top, like a Magic C.
- Go back over the top, around, and up to close it.
- Slide down, dive below the baseline, and loop back up.
- Again, a little faster. Up, back, around, down, dive, loop.
- Now, nice and quick.
- Your turn! Trace the gray letters in your book.
- Go slow, and start at the dot.
- Keep your pencil on the paper. It's all one stroke.
- Dive down below the baseline, then loop back up.
- Great job, cursive star! Pause and practice on your page!
