- Welcome to The Cursive Club! Today's letter is f.
- Cursive is movement on paper. Body, arm, wrist, hand, pencil.
- Stand up! Let's jump rope, way up high and way down low!
- Swing up high, dive all the way down, and loop back up!
- A tall loop on top, and a loop below the baseline. That's the letter f.
- Now watch the letter f.
- Start on the baseline. Undercurve way up, all the way to the topline.
- Loop back at the top, and slant all the way down, below the baseline.
- Loop back up, and close it near the baseline.
- Then glide out.
- Again, a little faster. Up, down, loop, out.
- Now, nice and quick.
- Your turn! Trace the gray letters in your book.
- Go slow, and start at the dot.
- Keep your pencil on the paper. It's all one stroke.
- One loop up high, and one loop down low.
- Great job, cursive star! Pause and practice on your page!
