- Welcome to The Cursive Club! Today's letter is e.
- Cursive is movement on paper. Body, arm, wrist, hand, pencil.
- Stand up, and stir a tiny pot with me!
- Swing up, make a tiny loop, and glide out!
- That tiny loop is the letter e.
- Now watch the letter e.
- Start on the baseline. Undercurve up to the midline.
- Loop back, and slant down.
- Then curve out.
- Again, a little faster. Up, loop, out.
- Now, nice and quick.
- Your turn! Trace the gray letters in your book.
- Go slow, and start at the dot.
- Keep your pencil on the paper. It's all one stroke.
- Keep the loop small, and open.
- Great job, cursive star! Pause and practice on your page!
